LotF chapter 7

Today we reviewed the novel and then began reading chapter 7 of Lord of the Flies. Students are to focus on the physical changes in the boys and the ritualistic dance they engage in.

Today the students completed a sample persuasive passage test. The multiple choice questions were scored in class, the open-ended question is due tomorrow.

Students have been working on HSPA related tasks, and will continue to do so this week. We will focus on the expository essay and the reading comprehension sections. Students received folders to keep all of their HSPA prep materials in.
